a growing sunspot on the sun let lose a cloud of
particles called (love the name) coronal mass ejection that is heading our way. this means we
could get a geomagnetic storm on friday that may affect activities with
our satellites; cell phones and electric grids may be affected. northern areas
may even see a glowing auroral ring or waves and ripples like what happened during last year's solar
storm.
